How to lock up torque converter for dyno pull

I think I saw something about having the torque converted locked up when making a dyno pull. What do I need to do to ensure this happens. Or was it locked into OD. Please advise, I've never run on a dyno before.

TIA

I think the instructions are to take it slowly
up to 64 or 74 (Bad Memory) and then floor it.

It won't downshift at that speed. You will get a
very nice clean run ...

Overdrive OFF.

When I was at Kenny Brown's I tried to tell
them how to do it, but I got a dynograph
with the lugging downshift in it.

Above like 3100rpm (or so) in 3rd gear, it won't downshift. Hence why you see most dyno charts start around 3200rpm. O/D has to be off.

3200 RPM in Drive with OD turned off.

You can also have a program that won't let it downshift so the pull can be started lower.
