Question Super charger issues?

Any help or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated!! I have a '01 Stock Lightning with 73,000 miles on it. It's completely stock. Well taken care of. The problem is when accelerating the engine misses, I noticed this only happens when the boost goes above 3 lbs. If I slowly accelerate (don’t engage the supercharger she drives great) When I kick the engine on neutral and rev it ,it doesn’t miss but I noticed in neutral the gauge on the supercharger doesn’t really move that much. Has anyone had this or any similar problem?

one has nothing to do with the other. the supercharger isn't going to make boost sitting in neutral and revving the engine.

it's probably just a bad plug or coil. at 75K or whatever you are due for a plug change anyway if you still have the stockers.

you need to get the missfire concern properly diagnosed.

good luck.

later,
chris

Are you the original owner or did you buy it used. Previous owner may have left some cold plugs in there for you. Maybe he'll sell you the mods to go with them.
Or maybe never changed in 73k. Just a thought..........

The crasy thing about it is the only time it misses/hesitates is when the boost happens. I can rev the motor up with no problems. I checked to see if any codes are showing. Nothing.
