Question What is the fattest tire I can run on a stock rim??

I have burned up my F1's some how , and I need to get another set of tires. Can I run a 305/60 on a stock L rim?

What tires have people had good luck with?
Nitto?
Toyo?
Or should I stick with the F1's?

I've been through 3 sets of F1's on my 2000 and currently have the Nitto 555's. I like the Nitto's so much that i'll never pay goodyear another cent! The F1 and the 555 have the same treadware, but the 555's are lasting alot longet than any F1 ever did. A 305 will fit on the back with no problems, but i think you'll only find that size in the 555R drag radials. Hope this helps.

Go with the 305 555R drag radials on the back for a good hook on the street and track.

From: Colorado,
That 60 seires tire is like 31 inches tall and will throw your speedo off almost 9 MPH, It will raise your gear ratio and I garuntee you won't be spinning them as easy.

There are a few 305/35/18 searies that will lower you and do the opposite

Nitto makes a 305/55R18 in a NT-404 Extreme that might technically fit.

Go with the 305/45R18 Nitto 555R if you're looking for traction.
