Hey I was wondering how much the Harley grille set up costs? I messed up my lower speed grille, and though about going with the Harley grille and tube lower. Can I get some links to where I can get these, and the best price that I'll be able to find? Also, do I need a stock lower grille for this? I sorta sold mine to Casey02L

Well I will hook ya up if I get the Harley grilles

My lower is trashed, but the main is still great.

I am either doing the Harley swap or just buying a new brushed lower

eposey this is what I have learned, you can either buy a new harley grille through ford, or find an owner who went custom and buy his, scower ebay as well. Now the lower is the custom part, search J Jent grilles on google, they have a webpage and you have to call and have them custom make one for you, its about $125 I think they quoted, and after all of this you have to buy a 99-00 lower to mount the new custom harley lower too. This is everything I know, I was going to go this route but I decided to have a set of Billet grilles powdercoated to match my new wheels. I hope it turns out nice and good luck

 

how is your ss grille attached, only with the tabs or with zip ties too? pics?

 

The main grille is attached with clips.

The lower WAS attached with a mix of zip ties and a few clips.

Basically they already told you, but the hardest thing is find a reasonably priced Harley upper grill. Since we have started putting them in L's the Harley guys thing they are gold. I got my J-Jent lower for $115, and my Harley upper for $100 and you have to use a 99~00 stock lower with the J-Jent grill.

But, I am not totally happy with the J-Jent fit/match so I am getting a stock 01~04 lower grill chromed. Just havn't sent it off yet; so I am riding with the J-Jent for now.

 

What place chromes it? I just might send both my upper and lower grille that way if the price is reasonable.
