Chris,

Just checked out their website and I believe you're correct. I have only seen their 248 models. I like that one because you don't have to lift the car so far off the ground to get on it (in the above-ground version). I've been looking at these as a business lease.

Thanks!

Jody

yeah, a buddy of mine just bought one. beware of dynojet's interest rates, even with excellent credit, they can be high.

the 224 is nice because it's smaller, only requires a pit of like 4' or so.

still measures plenty of hp, and costs like $10,000 less than the 248

later,
chris

sorry, not trying to hijack the original thread...

Nice Shop Sal! 'bout time j/k

to answer your question, I too was looking into purchasing or leasing a dyno.

either way, you are looking at $30,000 to $35,000 for a new 224 installed (including, shipping, a pit or an above ground lift, and all the extras you need like wideband, a computer, etc. you can figure close to $10grand more for the big one 248. this still doesn't include eddy current or other load device for tuning or diag outside of WOT.

they do deal though, so don't be afraid to ask for a discount. sometimes they'll knock a few grand off.

later,
chris

It looks like Cactus Jack is in the house.

Nice place Sal. Damn, I wish L.I. wasn't such a long drive. I'd like to ride that dyno for a tune.
