99-00 stock wheel Q

Anyone elses' 99-00 stock wheels have the paint worn off at the end of each spoke? Any ways to touch it up?

I think they are powdercoated... but yeah-- mine are wearing away as well ---- I thought it might have been the wheel cleaner spray i was using that did it.... So maybe it was my fault but i doubt it....

it seems like the wind errosion caused it... maybe i shouldn't drive so fast

hey man, i have that on my 00 as well, i would like to get that fixed if anyone has any cheap ideas, cause personally, you cant really notice it that well.

No wheel cleaner stuff should be used. Just good ole soap and water. Then wax.

Hmmm...my original 00's rims look fine. I knew there was an excuse, uhh...reason not to only wash it so often!

Mine did the same thing.. I had them replaced under warranty.
The new ones are doing the same thing. :o

Holding Up OK

My 2000 rims seem to be holding up nicely. There are a few nicks from rocks (I guess), but other then that, they look pretty good.
If someone can find a place that would refinish them, I am sure sooner or later I would like to do it.
