For transmission longevity you want torque reduction left on and the line pressure left alone. Basically you don't want that chip to change anything with the transmission except maybe shift points. You should try to get a hold of gregg evans and he might be able to help you out, but like buckstop said you'll need to provide more info. Year of truck, mods, how long it's been modded, how many times the tranny's gone out, routine maintenance performed, how many miles on the truck, etc.

Second gear is the weak spot in the 4R100, you can upgrade the sprag ($65, I have them) and the Intermediate clutch plates (I have Blue Plates for $24 Each, 3 required)

Sounds to me like you're breaking sprags, but you're plates are prolly toased too.

Hope this helps,

G

When it's out of warranty, call me and I'll build you one that to blow you'd have bolt to a GE 90 Turbofanjet, and you'll get another 2 year warranty on it.
