anyone run in the 11's with stock TB

Just curious how many run in the 11's with the stock throttle body. I never got around to putting a single blade on the my truck b/c everyone says they weren't worth it on a light modded truck. but now that my truck is more heavily modded I was wondering if it would be worth it. if it's 5 hp on a stock truck how much would it be worth on a 430 rwhp motor?

I always here every saying they didn't feel much power, but got better power response. what do you mean by throttle response? the truck reacts quicker to gas'in it? you are running similar power numbers as me, your boost must be lower though if your only seeing 430rwhp with the KB.
thanks for the reply.

I think 11's can be had on a stock T/B with no problems. And I can also think of a much more beneficial way to spend $450!

I have always wondered the same thing. "Throttle response" means either (1) low-end horsepower, which should be able to be objectively quantified, or (2) just more low-end intake noise. Not so easy to show on a dyno, though.

I replaced my t/b also, I went with the BaBalt one a long time ago.
I too, "thought" I had better throttle response, but now, I think its due to a lighter return spring on the t/b itself.
Less pressure on the pedal to open the t/b. Its just my oopinion, and we all know about opinions on this board.....LOL
