Damn I love it.
HAve you personally seen the *******? Just curious how they compare. I thought of getting one of theirs in the X2000 SPeedstur version (built in wing) but missed the group buy on NLOC.

ALso how do you like the hinge mechanism on the ARE? Looks like it provides considerable assist.

Thanks Frank

I haven't seen the ******** in person so I don't know how they would compare to others. The hinge does work preaty well, helps open the cover and holds in place.

Frank
The weathertechs probably aren't THAT new. The ones I have on the truck are 3 years old. The nice thing about them are they are tapeless yet fit very snug into the window. They are tinted a little bit but its not real dark. I love 'em.

The etched glass effect is actually something I got off of eBay at one time. It is a decal but I swear it is hard to tell it isn't etched into the glass.

Thanks for the compliments....

I'm with Big Man here. The hinges are great IMO. Makes it real easy to lift the lid up and down. I paid a bit more for my lid. I think I paid around 1200-1300 bucks for the lid, wing and carpet underneath.

BTW... the carpet liner under the lid matches my bedrug material exactly!
