5000 miles, going strong..............

in 90 degrees I dyno'd 496/562 stock block - I might add I have a very conservative tune. I want to keep her together so-to-speak.

I am guessing but I think KBZilla was the first to blow a number of rods on an '03, but I think he was in the 540 hp range and pushing 20lbs of boost??? He will probably correct me if I am wrong.

Sorry it took me so long to respond. Willie Figueroa - direct from Diablo in Miami - 561 908 0041.

Other tuners respect his work and he plays it safe on stock blocks.

I was the first to blowup a 2003 Lightning Engine. I was running 18lbs of boost that would peak at 20lbs right before the shift.
Stock exhaust with a Bassani catback so I was rather restricted compared to most people.
SAE hp numbers were 505/585 , or 492/572 with STD correction.

I still believe that 450 rwhp is about the limit with the stock rods, its a gamble after that
