Question Help I can't cure this issue!!!!!!

Hello,
I have a 95 F-150. For the last month or so for the first 30 minutes of driving the truck pings and sputters and has a total loss of power when I give more then 1/4 throttle. When the outside air temp is higher then 70 degrees the truck runs fine from the start. I have tried posting this problem numerous times using different descriptions of the problems. But have not had much feed back. If you have any ideas of what I might check or of had a similar problem please let me know. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Looks like you might have got into the wrong forum.

Anyways, first thing you need to do is see if your computer has any codes. Since you have a Vortech, check all your air path hoses including the bypass hoses for leaks.

Someone told me to try this forum since the truck has so many aftermarket parts. The computer is not showing any codes. I will check all the air hoses for leaks. I'm not sure if my kit has a bypass hose. Thank you!

Ford has alot of those egr position sensors go back on the 5.0's and inline sixes. I had to change out the one in my mustang and I may dad had to change his on a six. It does normally throw a code though. They are cheap to buy. Any parts store probably has them. Your idle assembly's can get dirty and cause rough idling. It's a mechanical device that adjusts your airflow at Idle. Just a few things....

Thank you! Is there a way to check the FMU? Does IAT stand for Intake Air Temp? Is this the sensor that is mounted in the air intake tube running between the MAF and the supercharger compressor? Thank you!
