Talking new dyno results...before after.."home port"

ok. heres the quick story.i went to dyno back in november. had custom tune while there(rwtd). since i've added catback,self- ported blower. the weekend i added my "new"ported blower, i broke tranny. just fixed it this weekend. went to dyno today on a emailed tune. NO dyno tuning. both comparisions are std corrected. both were my final dyno pulls each time. had trouble today with convertor slipping down low and locking up, so i had a little spike this time...after the spike from 4700rpms up, you can clearly see the hp numbers rise. at 4900rpms i gained 19hp. at 5000 rpms i gained 22.2hp. at 5500 rpms i gained 32.5hp....i talked with rwtd after i dynoed today, he said we can get the lower end straightened out next time i custom tune it, which will be after i install the longtubes. thanks to usahooters for stopping by and adjusting my bypass valve correctly. I think some of the people not getting the numbers or boost, should really make sure its ajustded correctly.

it takes a skilled person to port a blower and acheive the results you did.

Wes, you da man. I will have some more Wes ported Eaton dyno numbers in the next couple of weeks. Hoping to join you in the 400 / 500 club. Just waiting on the custom tune from JLP, and will call and schedule the dyno time.

Awesome results Wes
Thats what the seat of the pants has been telling all of us WASP owners. And like I've ALWAYS SAID, this mod will benefit us 1320 racers big time, especially those like me who have shift points up in the 5500-6000 rpm range

I personally can't wait to go race mine and shut all these *******s up once and for all who have had nothing but schitt to say about your awesome porting, and yes even the original old style WASP like I have.

Like I keep saying my holes bigger, and unless we're talking about fat girls, bigger is better

Nice Wes. Got my truck put together today and took it out for a spin. Everything is running great. Gotta get it on the dyno next week to check the a/f.

Don't know if you talked to mike but he picked up some nice power even without adjusting the tune. I think it was close to 20hp and 30ftlbs but his tune does need to be adjusted. Really fat down low and leaning a bit up high. The thing screams. I have a video if anyone can host it.

This is a more meaningful comparison. In the dyno charts posted, two things changed at the same time -- the port job and the tune. One tune can easily produce 20 rwHP more than another, so it's impossible to isolate the effect of the port job.
