4# with stock tune, and dyno to check a/f

is it safe to say that if i installed a 4# pulley on my stock 04L and put it on a dyno and found out the a/f was fine i would be ok and not have to worry about blowing it up. I only have enough money for a 4# and nothing else like a predator. What does everyone think. I went to the track and ran a 13.76. i wanna run low 13's. I also want to be able to take the mods off if something happens and be able to receive warranty work. is it possible to get low 13's without a chip? thanx everyone.

How many miles do you have on it? The performance will pick up as you get a few K miles on it.

A cheap reversible mod is to remove the lower airbox, and ziptie the filter to the top.

You might be OK, but it depends what plugs you are running. Even if your A/F's are at 12.0 or under, that doesn't mean you aren't making a hot spark and burn with the stock plugs.

Go with NGK TR-6's (colder than stock) to be safe. Very cheap insurance, under $3 each to save your motor.

Also, without a performance tune, you aren't getting the added benefit of some additional timing.
