those with a moroso trans pan

what did you do with the stock trans pan magnet?
I would hate to not use it, considering all the goop it had picked up. Do you just rely on the drain plug magnet now?

you can glue it to the bottom of the moroso pan.

I just rely on the drain plug magnet. Most of the goop on the stock one comes from the first few miles of use and break in anyway.

I also just use the drain plug magnet. Haven't checked it yet, but will post if my tranny dies!

also, just the drain plug magnet.

I thought about glueing it somehow to the inside of the pan, but I didn't know which product to use that would hold up to the heat and fluid in there.

the pan is a pretty slick surface for glue to bond to.

I didn't want the thing coming loose and flying around in there if the glue didn't hold.

I'm sure there's a product that would work fine, I just don't know what it is.

later,
chris

Using the original trans pan ring magnet to hold a poster up on the side of my tool box.
