I too really wanna know??? Makes me worried next time I go to the track!
That lightning driver simply does know how to drive. It's no more complicated that than that.
This sort of ignorance and carelessness when driving a powerfull production vehicle is EXACTLY what drives up insurance costs.
Any idiot can mat the gas pedal....
At least this was on a race track where everybody involved knew what they were getting into.
(off soapbox)

I hope she is OK.
track looks wet to me in the pictures ????
Man that sucks, but it is the only way a SRT is gonna beat a L.
And if it isn't wet (like it looks), fluid down prob was the cause.
Remember when it happen to me, they made an anouncement
that no fast cars (or L's
) in the left lane due to fluid down,
Guess what lane I was in
(next to launch)
I whooped a Z-06, off the line, a few hundred feet into the run,
the truck went totally sideways, I detonated, burnt three plugs, corrected, shut the key and rolled it down the track. Got in the Pits, smoke pouring out of the engine compartment, antifreeze smell, ALL OVER, smoke everywhere, and I mean everywhere. I was convinced I lifted my heads and or blow it up. It was a very scary week not knowing what happen. The next weekend I swaped plugs to Denso IT-22's, took away 2lbs of boost, checked all my fluid levels and went back to the track to claim my 1st 12 sec pass ever in the L (3 seasons ago)
The only thing I came up with, was I spun out in someone elses
anti-freeze, cause it's been over 10K since, over a second faster ET, and I've never added a drop of fluid to date.
I guess to answer everyones question, just be ready for the UNEXPECTED at ALL TIMES.
I survived, and you will too if you react fast enough.
