pro-m help

I purchased a pro-m 80 mm for a 99 lightning from a guy on ebay. He said its brand new and looks like it is. I need a meter for 42 # injectors. The filter k&n has a sensor hole in the front of it. the meter says model (ser 99light) then at the bottom it says calibration ( 96 gt 24)? I called pro-m they said send it to us we can check it. Any help would be appreciated.

ProM should be able just to check the serial # and tell you what calibration it is.
My 80mm univer ProM says 96 GT 32...

Here is a link to the 96GT24

The calibration is what they start with I think...

pro m

I have photos can I e mail them to someone ? I hooked up a volt meter to maf wires c&d my stock 97 mark Viii shows 4.5 volts wide open throttle . The pro-m shows 4.1 volts wot. the lbs/min corresponds to the 96 gt 24 #. One guy at pro-m said the 96 gt 24 is what they start with for a calibration. Another guy said its for a a 96 gt 24 # calibration. This is very confusing. The meter is marked 99 light on the top. It appears to have the correct filter k&n with sensor hole and appears to have a lightning bracket. They want me to send the meter back 77 bucks to test it. I have the serial # they did not look it up. I have less than 24 hours before I go to a ford chip dynotune. If someone has a pro-m could you take a few minuites to look at it and tell me what numbers are on it thanks Glen.

I have a Pro-M and my meter says 96gt24 also. Basically, a MAF has a transfer function from airflow to volts. All that matters is your new meter gives the same reading in volts for the same airflow. It just so happens that a 96 mustang gt meter that has been turned down to allow for 24 lb/hr injectors put into the lightning housing produces close to the right transfer function.

I think you fine.
