Smoooooooooking #'s
Especially for not getting the Nitrous HP you should be

As said the Bottle pressure IS EVERYTHING
and 600lbs is NOT ENOUGH AT ALL
With Nitrous You should see every entire bit of HP that your jetted for, hence 75HP in your case. YOU DEF NEED A BOTTLE HEATER, and you def want a MIN of 900 PSI or you aint getting
nearly all the power.

SMOKING NUMBERS BRO with at least 35HP left on the table

I guess the next question is.........I don't have time to put a bottle heater on today, so is there a trick way of heating the bottle for tonight's run until I put the heater on next week?

And thanks for the compliments guys!!!! A little nervous, but that should quickly dissipate at the start line

No heater here, I use an acetylene torch to heat my bottle. Works great, just be careful.

use a big cooler and fill it with hot water.....kinda like a hot tub for the bottle...it works real well, a friend of mine uses his all the time at the track.

KB has the better idea, just keep an eye on the pressure.

Not a good idea to heat the bottle with a torch, that will cause the cylinder to lose it's structural integrity.

Can we say boom.

Great numbers Quik

What a brutual night! I could not get my 60 ft time under 2.2 - 2.3. The truck would not hook up. Tried different combos but I guess the adrenaline was pumping pretty good and was able to control the take off. The last run, I got out of it half way cause I blew the boost gauge line. I heard the hissing and didn't know what it was, so shut it down. Either way, will go back in a couple of weeks and try again, this time with some real slicks....maybe that wiill help!

I find a bottle heater by itself is not good enough. On temps below about 55 it will only get the bottle presssure up to about 750 to 800 #'s. I cover the bottle with a 50% wool blanket and that will bring it up to 950 or 1000#'s.

Your dyno #'s are great! congrats. Did I read correctly that your air/fuel ratio went up with the nitrous pull?
When I made a nitrous pull my air/fuel went down about 2 to 3 tenths, this is with a NX wet kit.
Are you running out of fuel?

QUICKCANUCK !!!! I posted you how to launch with Nittos last night night, you gismo. With the HP& torq you are making you will never get a 60, just standing on it WOT with Nittos. Go back and read it again.

I know Don!! I AM A LOSER

I thought about what you said, but man, at the the staging light, me purging the system etc...I got a little excited....premature esculation of power! Next time will be MUCH better.

Perfectstorm,
When I pulled my nitrous dyno, with nitrous OFF, the program lowered the A/F by well over .5-1.0 (about 10.1 - 10.3 at peak HP).
With the bottle on, the A/F increased to 11.8 at peak.

mike don't get down on yourself,.:o it happens to us all
totaly different than street racing , take the 12.6 and work with it.

we all the know the truck is in the 11's your mph is there,

we'll head out there again in a few weeks where you can get 5-6 good runs in.
