How many can't run the 160 stat?

Jerry - Try the 170. Our stocker is a 180. You can find a 170 at a local auto parts store.

what code does the cpu throw because of the 160 thermo?

Been running a 160 stat / e-fan / R-pump for 30K miles now. No SES light for that. Had one for a lean code....but that is another story

Mine was a

'Insufficient coolant tempurature for closed loop fuel control'

I forget the actual code number, something like P1025...

I just changed the t-stat out last night and it immediately went away
