Can't say for sure, but I definately didn't notice any MORE torque.

As for upper RPM power, it's been raining constantly for the last 4 days here so I haven't had the chance to do any testing.

I need to mess around with the manifold bolts this weekend a little since I heard what sounds like a little exhaust leak. I will also check the plugs, but it must be the exhast because I never noticed it before.
What exactly does it sound like? Just curious because I installed my mids a week ago and am hearing some new sounds too.

I notice it sounds like a little fluttering sound when you are at 15-50% throttle. Above that, the regular noise drowns it out. Not exactly a ticking, but like quickly hitting a bristle brush against a frying pan (or something...how do you describe this sound?).

I'm checking the plugs here in a little while just to make sure, but I'm suspecting that the lighter gage steel tubing is amplifying the noisy valvetrain and injectors we have. I tightened down the manifold bolts this morning and the pass. side were a little loose. That seemed to help some, but I still hear it. It may also be something to do with how the high flow cats sound. Not exactly sure what the difference is between them and regular cats.

Overall, this is still a great mod. It still sounds great regardless of this peculiar sound.

I get a pulsating or fluttering sound. Somewhat diesel-like or like an older car with no cats. I suspect that's the nature of high-flow cats? When I get on the throttle though, there's no pulsation/fluttering.

I also notice that when I'm on the freeway at say 70 mph (2100 rpm) and let off the throttle that it gets a little boomy... like low level feedback noise you would get from a subwoofer. It doesn't sound like typical exhaust drone though. Have you noticed that?

PS - Despite these peculiar sounds, I still love the hell out of my mid-pipes!
