well after one year of pushing the sleeve manufacture, it finally happen we got the first 5.4 cast iron big bore block, second desing sleeve 3.70 bore,we just need line bore the block, bore & honed with the torque plates. once we get this build & on the truck is going to danny swanson performance in torrance ca. were we will put it to the test, if every thing goes we'll take it at a local track for the last test https://www.f150online.com/galleries...8803-thumb.jpg https://www.f150online.com/galleries...3553-88801.jpg https://www.f150online.com/galleries...3553-88802.jpg

New dicplacement is 358. Whats supporting the new sleeves, are the jackets filled? Whats the outer diameter of the sleeves you're using?

this sleeves are .100 thick that makes the outer diameter close to 3.800, this sleeves are very strong & dont need the support of the cyl. block wall ,there seal on the top & bottom with o rings.they have four grooves for cooling. can you imagine the cc displacement if you install a stroker crank with that bore

Actually if your bore is 3.700" and your wall thickness is .100 the outside diameter is 3.900".

Hmm

3.7" Bore x 4.25" Stroke = ~365ci

Thats a big motor! (well, for a mod motor, at least)

Interested to hear the results!

Stock stroke is 4.165", is he running a different crank or did he offset grind the stock crank to 4.25"?
