A.R.P. head stud ?Engine builders?

Just curious,did you use oil or suplied moly lube on the threads going into the block?

I believe the moly is better, thats what i used, and i believe superfords used the moly lube too

Thanx,I know the sequence but did you go maybe 35 55 70 ft lbs first before triple torque.

Also Cpeapea,did you retorque after the engine was run?

How much boost will you be runing? Mine are torqued to 80 ft with Fel-pro gaskets and will be re torqued after this race.

Hello Suavy,I should be around 17 lbs boost.Final torque will be 80 with the molylube,i believe it calls for 70 with oil.Not sure have to check it again.

moly lube.

if I'm not mistaken torque specs with oil are generally higher because it requires more force to overcome the higher friction.
