Unhappy Is this much oil abnormal???

OK, dead horse coming here, but, I'm very upset. I know that it blows oil, and I expected to have to put a fix in it eventually, but I have to ask, is it NORMAL to get this much oil through the driver's side PCV after only 5500 miles???

Inside of the intake boot - trail of oil from the driver's side PCV inlet:

Pool of oil in ridges of intake boot:

Continued. . .

The driver's side PCV tube (the one towards the rear-right side) (you can see it is wet):

Throttle body:

I'm worried now because I thought the oil blow was more of a gradual event, rather than finding this much oil pooled in the intake after only 5K miles!!! I was running in boost all day this weekend before I pulled the boot off (see my Chicago SVT Burnout post from earlier), but I certainly didn't expect to see that!

I don't want to start up the whole discussion on who's kit is better, etc., right now, but instead I am just wondering if my mileage is normal to see that amount of oil???

ALSO - I've been searching this all day and my head really hurts, but I never saw anyone comment about taking this problem to the dealers. So, has anyone heard what the dealers have to say about the oil problem? I'm considering taking it in just because.

..Thanks

Ya know my truck has always been an "oiler" similar to what you show and describe. I've just lived with it. I've seen a lot of posts that appear to have retarded it but i've never seen any evidence that the oil hurts performance. I've got 25K on my truck now and it's always ran consistent at the track.

Yeah, its normal. Dont fuss about about it, put a oil seperator on.
Do NOT waste a day at the Ford dealership! DO go directly to WOT,, you will feel better.

If that is all you have in the throttle body, you are doing good. Just wipe it out of the boot once in a while. JMHO.

My truck, at nearly 22,000 miles looks just about the same as yours does at 5500.

as far as bringing it to Ford; I believe SuperFords posted the other day a tech bulletin from Ford that said some oil in intake is acceptable. or something like that.
