New lightning owner! - what intake?
im a proud new owner of a 2001 lightning 
just thought i'd share......
anyways, looking to start off with the basic mods. ive already picked out what exhaust system is going on the truck and currently looking into computer and pully options, but, what intake are you guys running? i would like to go with a silver or polished intake such as the AEM, is this a good choice? if so, where did you purchase yours and for how much?

I've got the Babolt/Billet Flow propipe, which is a one-piece intake pipe that incorporates fittings for the mass air meter and hoses.
With this pipe I am going to have a BOP reflash of the computer. This will have new caculations in the table to compensate for the larger intake that is letting more air into the engine. The benefit to this is the computer will be able adjust to changes and operate as the stock computer does and keep a proper a/f ratio.
The computer will adapt instead of just reading a single program.
