How to gap IT22's
Assuming you don't have a good gapping tool. Take a pliers and carefully bend the outer electrode. (Do this without shims).
After you bend it a little, then carefully check the gap with shims. Don't use that cheap gapping ring with different size wire.
Keep doing that until the desired gap is obtained. It takes awhile but the last thing you want to do is flatten, bend or break off the center electrode on one of those expensive plugs that you can'y just go to Autozone and get. Good luck.
