Chicago area L motor rebuilder?

Has anyone had there motors built up by anyone in the chicago land area and had good results with it?

I've decided there's no point in selling the truck when its all payed for so I'm going to continue to play around, beside getting it home tonight really made me fall in love again with her.

I remember you posting that you wanted a C6. Are you going to do both or just keep the L?

your in the area, you should come ride with our group now that you got a busa. We got a couple guys with busa's now but the busa guys always seem to be the slowest and in the back of the pack, LOL! no offense to you but our two guys don't ride to hard or they come up with some good ones.

I'm RTKILLA on there too.

We just moved our office out to highland so I'm out in NW IN all the time.

I would really think about building in Indiana. Traffic here is a complete nightmare. 80/94 is under construction for the next few years and almost every other major road is being worked on. Taxes in Lake county are going to sky rocket this year. The tax bills come out in Sept. Just look hard before you do anything. I'm looking into moving out your way possibly.

My dad lives in briars ridge so I've heard the tax hikes are going crazy lately but I just hate driving an hour to work in the morning and an hour back home, with no traffic that is. thats 10 hours of my life a week down the drain a week so thats my big reasoning for moving. I love my townhouse and its only 6 months old so there's not other reason for me to move really.

Good luck with whatever you decide I'd love to check out your L sometime. I live about 3 miles from Briar Ridge. We'll have to hook up sometime this summer.

I live in Highland. I rarely ever pull the L out so I doubt we've met. I think I may have given blown318 an x-plan a couple of months ago.

My office is right behind the webb ford dealer in that industrial lot. If you take that industrial drive all the way to the end of the drive our building is at the very end and you can't miss the JVI trailers out in front.

We won't be moved in for another couple months until we finish renovating the office and warehouse.

I was looking at those townhouse behind the movie theater, I believe it was oloff holmes was the subdivision I liked but they needed basements and bigger garages so I'm going to have to build my own place if I'm ever going to get what I want.

So you're keeping the truck hah Joey? Did you get the trans fixed? That's good your going to keep the L. I have no idea where to bring the truck in Chicago. If I were going to build my truck and have a motor put in it, I'd drive it out to one of the tuners known on here. Sal, Johnny, JDM. Good luck with the truck man. Give me a call sometime.
