i went to the track last night

after the last run, my engine light came on

i scaned the computer today

came up

0174
0171

says some type of lean codes

i cleared them and has come back on

why did those codes come up?

 

Same thing happened to me although not at the track. Cleared the codes, and it came back on. Cleared it again, and drove around for a while. The truck stalled while cruising at 40. When I restarted the light was off, and it hasn't come back on since. I've been doing a lot of driving just to see how the truck feels, and checking periodically for codes, and everything seems to be running perfectly after about 1 week.

I didn't change anything except for the fuel filter and PCV valve.

Do you know what you're running for A/F?

 

i dunno, dont have a good enough scanner to check it the a/f out

i change the fuel filter , the old one wasn't that dirty and still havent had a code yet


i heard about 99's wit their fuel pump hoses gettin loose or something, might be happening to me wit have low fuel pressure and throwing up lean codes
