Question battery relocate problem...

I did the relocate this last weekend, took me forever. I did it basically the same way that Tim Skelton did. My disconnect is behind my license plate and I ran the main 0-gauge wire up to the front on the drivers side, just zip tied it to the stock wire harness. Well today I noticed that when my flex-a-lite fans kick on the compass and temp gauge on the over head console shuts off and then comes back on. Just like if I were starting the truck. This hadn't happened before I did the relocate, although the motor revs would slow when the alternator would kick on to compensate. I was wondering though if I replaced my stock alternator with a 200 amp Mr. Alternator would this solve the problem of the fans draining too much power. What is the idle output of his alternators. Any info. would be great. Thanks!

Cool

HI!... You could always put a slightly smaller alternator pully on to speed it up a bit at idle. That's what I did after installing my ASP power pulleys. Now when I engage both electric fans, the truck doesn't bog at idle.
