An L motor in a 4x4...Hell Yeah
The April cover truck for 'Four Wheeler' mag. is a 97 F-150 w/ an L motor. It started out as a v-6, 4x2 and now its an insane 4 Wheel drive , L Blown MONSTER . Go to this link and check out 'Metro1lpsd' gallery.

A little info about this BEAST
Original truck is a 97 f150 supercab 2 wheel drive with a v6 and a manual trans. Now it has a Lightning motor and trans converted to 4wd with a Excursion transfer case. The axles are a 79' dana 60 front and a 88' 10.25 sterling rear.The suspension has been redesigned to a full 4-link with Bilstein 9100 coilovers. I am just now putting the truck back together. I built ever peice myself from scratch and all of the parts are just comming back from paint and crome. MORE PICS ARE ON THE WAY!!!! Steering is custom crossover with a dana 60 arm and 3 inch block. Gears are 5.13. Driveshafts were built by highangle driveline and are 1350 cv's. Tires are 38.5 baja claws on 16.5x14 weld mountain crusher rims.Some of the other mods are JDM heat exchanger, 2001 harley cluster, and a custom 2.5 to 3 inch exaust with x-pipe and magna flow mufflers.

Hate to see the gas mileage he's getting "YIKES"
But boy it's a beaut, and I bet it pulls nice with our Motor,
SOB prob run a 15 even with those giant tires on it
