From: Colorado,
Welcome to the gang. Sorry I missed this.
I bought my 99 used and the dipwadd previous owner never did it while it was under extendid warranty.

I elected to do it my self and it was any easy 3 hour job.

The electrical stuff you can't hardly mess up cause it only fits one way. Each plug is different.

Here is where I bought mine and it was the best price I found.
http://fordparts.com/

It came with all the gaskets and was a nice set up Part number was XL32-9424-AB

It is basicaly the same procedure as cleaning the intercooler posts. Lots of pictures and info in archives.

Anyway I can help feel free to ask.
Check your sparkplugs for tightness while you have it stripped down.

did you try to get ford to do an out of warrenty adjustment on it. if you bought it threw a ford dealer the service guys should help you out. ford covered 80% of mine. go in and at least check cant hurt. i think they can do 2 out of warrenty adjust if the service guy wants . but every dealer is different. mine leaked at 5000 miles and it was 3 1/2 years old factory warrenty was up when i bought it and whoever had it didnt do the recall. you think ford would honor it anyway since lightning production is so few compared to reg f-150. and i guess just about everyones 1999-2000 are leakers.
