Repair Manual

Is there an online source for a Lightning repair manual? I just got my 04 L and am confused as hell. I've gone back and read hundreds of posts here but when I look under the hood of my truck I can't make heads or tails out of whats there. If I'm ever going to understand what the hell you guys are talking about I'm gonna need some schooling.

Thanks

Have all 15 of your posts been this helpful? I'm admitting that I am out of my element and asking for help.

BTW I'm no Red Stick, I'm from New Orleans as well, just moved here for work.

I'm looking for a manual also. I don't see a 2003 Ford MAnual on disk from the listings on e-bay. Closest is the 2002...is it the same?

Is that an actual Ford manual, or an aftermarket of some sort?

I can remember my dad buying a complete factory service manual for his Grand National - the same manual the dealership service departments got. Does Ford offer anything like that?

Dennis,

Can you post the label information off of that CD? I'd like to try and find a copy either on Ebay or elsewhere.

Thanks

Don’t feel bad bro about the plugs. It took me a bit to figure out where the hell they were at. I was looking through the side of the truck trying to figure out where they were.

I had been use to seeing sparkplugs on the end of spark plug wires sitting at an angle from the heads, these engines are some weird CHIT, but man I LOVE THE CHIT OUT OF THIS TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: Colorado,
I went from a Diesel Dodge to my L and I to lifted the hood and said OMG I bet this is a buggar to do plugs. Couldn't see them from the top so got out the creeper and looked from the bottom. Scratched my head and went back up with a plan to follow the sprark plug wires from the missing distributor.

These fellows around here are great about helping and posting picutures and lots of quality conflicting advice.

Oh, BTW it is a real pain to do plugs
