What 1/8 = 12sec 1/4?

Just curious what it takes in the 1/8 mile to get in the 12's in the 1/4? Im wondering how far off I am...

12.99 = 8.32 or quicker. (I use a 1.56 factor "rule of thumb")

Hmmmm...

I'm gonna agree more-or-less with 'Thrtl. It depends on your top-end power, but I would think about 8.35 or so.

I ran a best of 12.92 with a 8.31 eighth-mile. This was with a very much average 1.98 60-foot on street tires, but with a better-than average top-end of 106.5 MPH.

If you can't break the 8.3's in the 1/8, you don't have a prayer.

Here's one I dug up from last summer's NMRA @ Atco:

60=1.891
1/8=8.294
MPH=84.92
1/4=12.954
MPH=105.56

Roughly, I would say a "30" would get a "12".

Right on. I ran an 8.31 last fall in the 1/8 which was a 13.02 @ 106 in the 1/4 mile.

For most L's, a .30 will do it, if you are trapping around 106.
