Unhappy My Babys Gone Guys

well I'm sad to inform everyone that my truck is now gone to lightning heaven.....this morning on the way to work I hit some sand with the nitto's and spun sideways into a telephone pole and fire hydrant. Just a day after being so proud of her....shes gone. I dunno what I'm gonnna get from insurance for her, but she was a 2001 with only 16k. I still owe $20,000 for her to the bank so whatever I get mostly is goin to pay off the loan. I'm almost positive that its gonna be a total out when the adjuster comes to look at it. I loved that truck....and the great group of you guys I met through having it.....maybe depending on how much my insurance increases and what I have left after paying my loan off I'll be able to buy another one...what does a 03-04 in sonic blue/white go for I'd be lookin for the best possible deal. And even though I live in Ny I'd fly to another state and drive it home if it will save me a few grand...I called the one dealer by me and even with xplan he said all he could do is 28k on an 03...I know some of you have gotten better deals. Any is appreciated...Bye guys

Josh

ITs said to here about your truck but your fin and thats the main thing. You had a good bit of mods on there too didnt you? I hope you can salvage them to put on your new truck. Hope they total out for you quick and you can get on your way with a new truck. I think it would be tuff going back to a stock truck but i know i could do my truck better if i had it all to do again.

I'm sorry to hear that. I somewhat feel your pain. I was T-boned last weekend in my one week old '04 L. I would rather have a total out than getting repaired and not having it just the way it was. Of course, that is my opinion. I know of a dealer here in FL that was willing to do ~27k with X-plan for an '03.

Josh,

Sorry to hear about your accident. If you don't go get the
mods off before the insurance agent totals the truck you
can't get them at all. Just a heads up ...

Also, if you didn't have a rider on your insurance policy to
cover the mods, they won't pay for them either.

Sorry to bring you such news, but it's because I went
through the same thing last year.

They MAY make you take a rebuild, depending on how
smucked up you are, and what the book value is.

Good Luck ...

Cliff

Sorry to hear about your accident. The important thing is that your ok! Lightning's can be replaced, lives can't. New 03's have been going to $26,500.

The important aspect is you are O.K. !!!

I would try for an '04 just to have the last year for the Gen II.

Good Luck!
