3.73 Gears on Ebay

What type of performance gain would these gears make on a expedition? These gears appear to be very cheap performance for the dollar?

300 seems kinda high for installing gears, I could probably manage to install them myself. Going from a 3.55 to 3.73 would not be too drastic of a change but probably would help this big truck launch better?

Kind of a silly mod if you ask me. A 5% overall ratio change for around $500 out the door. Not exactly good bang for the buck.

On Mustangs, etc. that have engines that make all their power in the mid and upper RPM range, a gear change is highly effective. I had 4.10's in my 99 GT.

But when our trucks hit peak torque by 3300rpm, we don't need much help down low in the power band.
