Cleaning the engine?

What should I be careful not to get wet while spraying the engine with the water hose and why?

if you have an open air filter try and keep it dry

soak the rest of the engine. been doin it for years. no issues

i suggest not using high pressure.

From: Colorado,
I would keep it away from the spark plug holes and coil packs.

I also used compressed air to blow things dry and then warm the engine to finish the job.

Then start my detailing after all that.

Don't forget to wax the underside of the hood

NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't spray it with a hose......

Don't get it wet.......

My detailer HAND CLEANS engines...no water...he cleans up every nook and cranney by hand....

Looks awesome....

See if you can find someone where you are who does this.

Here's my first L after detailing (sorry, the pic is a bit blurry)

Beats me, it's part of the overall detailing package.

To have the entire truck detailed, interior, exterior (including bed), engine, was 250.
