I went to the local Sinclair (to get 93 octane) and came home to find out that the ticket said 87 octane on it. I went back to check it out and found that I pushed the right button (93) but they were closed. What to do? I don't know if I have 87 or 93. Any help appreciated.

 

You can bet you have 87 octane. Make sure you do not show any boost until you get that gas out of your truck.

 

Just drive easy for a day or two till you run the tank down. then fill her up with 93, you will be fine.

 

try some octane boost or put a few gallons of 104 in it.

 

If you have 87 you will probably have some pinging.. No big deal drive it easy and not under boost.. You will be ok ........
