In 2001 the 3rd brake light changed on Lightnings. Is this same light used on 02's, 03's, and 04's?

The reason I ask is that we're making billet covers for them if they are all the same from 01 to 04.

I've got an '03, and it looks the same. Hard to tell without a side by side comparison or one of your pieces to test fit. Hope this is helpful.

 

I hope to have them next week. They will be $45.

I know this may sound blasphemous but I am curious...

Is there a third brakelight like the L's pictured available for the other non "L" trucks? It just looks so nice! -I promise I'm not one of those guys that puts the lightning emblems on my truck!

 

It's the only one I have now. There might be more in the future.

I have an 03 and mine is like the one in the picture. Only some 2001 come with this brake light. I have a friend with a 2001 and he has the old style.

 

frost I dont think that using the 3rd brake light would be considered bad.

BTW, I ordered a FTVB from you and got it in 2 days later. DAMN!!!
