Don's Bolt, 10 Second Club????

I'm sure most of you know that Paul Gamino sold his 10 second JDM truck a couple weeks ago.

Don Cobin has his own 2001 which is kncoking on the the 10 second door at 11.0's. A ten is just inevitable for his 01 this season now that he's got his supension worked out.

Now, the reason for this post is the the guy who bought Paul Gaminos truck had one to many toys and had to get rid of one of them. Don has been in touch wiht the guy ever since Paul sold the truck to him since they live very close together. To make a long story short Don just bought it and now owns Paul's ex-truck. That's one way of getting in the 10's. lol. So, lets recap, Silver 2001 11.0 Lightning, Silver 2000 10 second Lightning and a Silver SVT Focus!!! I think its safe to say its good to be Don. Have fun!!!

Man...it sure must be good to be Vinnie and Don...all kinds of money and SVT products between the two of them.

I bet Rob would trade all his timing for just one 10 second pass, let alone two trucks with consistent 10 sec capability.

Not trying to take anything away from Don, but what's the point of having two 10 second trucks? It'd be one thing if it was closer to stock, and you replaced your focus with another lightning as a daily driver, but you've got two 10 second lightnings? Why?
on the new Lightning, Shane

Hey guys
The reason I bought it, is to keep someone who can't appreciate it from buying it.

Since it ment a lot to Paul, and it is such a nice truck. I want to make sure it goes to someone who will appreciate it, and give it the care and respect it deserves.

Just imagine if some rich punk kid got daddy to buy it for him, and went and ruined it, or worse yet killed himself in it.

Even If I have to hang onto it for a few months to make sure it gets the right home I am willing to do that.

Don you dirty dog you! Thats awsome...and I hope you make a pass or two in it before you sell it.

Also, I think thats really awsome why you bought it. It would break my heart to see my old truck driving around town....body straight as an arrow, cherry paint.......and some big ugly decals and paint stripes that the ***** contractor I sold it to installed. I was happy to hear that it went up to Maine to a guy that loved it. (except isn't that what you tell your kids what happened to the family dog....its living on a farm up north where it will be happy???)

It is now in the classified section

I hope it finds the right owner, as it is one awesome truck.
So if your looking for one of the nicest lightnings in the country, let me know.
