Stock Lightning???

What are we talking in the 1/4? The reason I ask is that my buddy says he saw a stock Hemi run a 13.7.......that seems kinda quick to me. What do you guys think?

My truck went 13.40 e.t and 103mph on stock F-1's. This was with 2000 miles on stock truck. Even had the stock air filter.

I think your buddy is a little off on the time for that 'stock' Hemi.

As far as the L, I can't comment. Mine wasn't stock when I bought it.

I think the stock Hemi Dodge trucks are running low 15's/high 14's at best. I don't see 13's unless he has a blower or shooting some nitrous.

Why is it so hard to believe. If pulling one wire is good for .5 of a second, it would tell me these engines are restricted, and are capable of much more then one right off the lot. The rumor, just a rumor, is the hemi's are only running at 70% of capacity. Removing exaust systems helps, but to get the full amount out of them, need the computer to be reprogrammed.

Mid 14's for a stock reg cab short box hemi is easily doable these days.
