Finally fixed the Exhuast from rubbing on the Rancho Bars

That clonking was driving me nuts,
I finally cut the Clamp holders off the two Exhuast Tips
and swung the clamps 180 Degrees so they now clear the bars

Before (the day I installed them)

Hard to tell from the pic, but man oh man did they scrap the
schitt out of the bars, and a real deep scrape at that

At least now there will be no more sidways rubbing,

I still may have to adjust the Exhuast Tip Clamp a little higher
to give me more clearance

I'd swear I heard it clunk again AFTER I FIXED IT (@#$(@#$(@$#(@$%@$%!*(!*#

BTW
Who says I aint running pig rich

Thanks Rob

Hey Rob.........

That reminds me.........Thanks for the original post on this issue. I installed JLP traction bars about three weeks ago and had the same clearance issues with the stock exhaust. BUT, thanks to your original post.....I remembered the "cut/spin the clamp MOD" that you found. Worked like a charm. Oh yea don't feel bad I do all my modding in the gravel driveway too.......Hopefully not for long planning on the two car garage in the next couple of months.....Talk to ya later......Thanks again.

Later,
Chris

Have you seen the Flowmasters??

They are horrible....right up there with the Borla.

Stock is a step up on both IMHO.

I used the red scotch brite pads on my tips. It took off the black, but if you rub to hard (he he i said hard) it will take off the clear coating. At least it looked like their was a clear coating. Anyway, they came out pretty good, but not a s nice as chrome tips.
