What does that mean? When I was 18 I had a 62 VW and barely enough money for my KD.

And what's with the 'Quick ca nut"??? Time to mellow out lightnin.....

6 years X $557/mo. for my '03 L. I only put about $2k down on it, since I only got $1,850 for the 1990 Probe GT it replaced.

OUCH!!!! Holy Mary-Mother-of-Moses!!! I pay $449 for 60 months. But, I would have paid alot more if needed. [Bottom Line] Dealers know this....and sometimes may not be as willing to negotiate. I LOVE MY "L"

Started out at $412/mo for 72 months, and refinanced to $380/mo. I am paying the hell out of it now and will have it paid off by my fourth anniversary with the truck! I put $13K down.

'01's wife here.

Our payment used to be $656 for 60 mths. We only put $3500 down, and the interest rate was real high because Rick had never financed a vehicle before. His credit was perfect, but very shallow. The interest was 13.5%

We refinanced it in October at 4.75%. I shortened the term by 9 months to get it paid off sooner. The payment is now $733.

That didn't really bother me since I was always paying $700 before anyway.

BTW, insurance is only costing us $66 a month for well over full coverage. We currently have 26 payments to go. The nice thing now is that the truck is no longer upside down............. we now have positive equity even based on trade-in value.

PS, our house payment is $648............. but we can't do cool smokey burnouts with the house.

Dude, I do not understand this. What kind of house payments are these???? You have no chance in hell of buying any real estate anywhere near that price. A halfway decent CONDO monthly payment around here will cost you ATLEAST around $2000 a month. A DECENT condo is gonna be around 300-350k here. Up to 600-700k. $648 is just unheard of. I dont know where yallz been, but i think im jealous of the rest of the country right now. My bro got 2.9% on his vette vert last year, and still had $9xx.xx payments to make. His escalade now is more like 700 ish. Low payments you people do have indeed.
