Any of you fellow Lightning owners had any run-ins with one of these trucks yet? A guy on the next street from my buddy has one. I'm thinking of asking him if he wants to line up with me but he never drives it nor do I ever see him around.

I had a run in with one at the track. I made my worst pass of the night against him and still trumped his time. He ran a 13.75 and I ran a 13.72 and that was after running 13.5-13.6s all night ......

 

I made two runs against one at the track, not even close! Because of the altitude here (5,300 ft) times are slow, stock L's run 14.1 to 14.5. He ran a 14.9 and a 15.1, with either massive wheelspin or wheel hop. My modded L on slicks ran a 13.24 and 13.26 YAH!

If they get traction mods and a good driver, stock L's watch out. But if you have some basic mods they will have a long uphill battle to catch you. JMHO

 

In the thread shown below there's a Ram SRT-10 owner talking a lot of smack.
He claims he beat a L. by 4 truck lengths, or in his words "links".
He also made this comment.

Apparently he didn't see the infamous video w/ the L. that had
exactly those mods.
