? about Blower re-install

My WES ported Eaton arrived today along with my reburned chip. Tomorrow I will be putting it back together. My ? is about the gasket that goes in between the blower and the IC. Did you guys that put yours back on use any sealant? It seems it would be a pita without something to hold the gasket in place.

From: Colorado,
When I replaced my intercooler it came with new gaskets that looked similar to the origanal.

They are designed to crush and it is a one time use even though many have reused them.

The other point would be that you didn't see any signs of sealer on the origanal did you?

So do it dry, I did and have had no problems

There are guide pins to hold everything in place.

ditto that on the guide pins, there are 2 of them, both on the passenger side.

put them in the intercooler, and put on the gasket, then install the s/c.

that gasket won't move

good luck
