post your stall speed in the monster box please
well i finally got my jasper engines/ factory tech monster box in. first impression of driving away from shop was like "RACE TRUCK". it has an extremely high stall. i can brake my truck and ease the gas to it and get it all the way to 3000 before it starts trying to spin or pull off. my old pi 2400 i could brake to 1700. so im guessing i must have like a 3800 stall. i tried to call greg because im tired of jaspers way of handling things. greg didnt answer so ill try tomorrow. im just wondering how high does everyones monster box really stall. i still drive my truck quite a bit on the street and i do not want anything over a 2400. just driving it home in town easing into the gas i was taching 3000-3400rpms. im sure greg or jasper will take care of itbut man this project is running on close to 4 weeks and i still dont have my trans right.
on a side note the wot shifts were absolutely awesome! now if i can get my stall done right maybe ill have a good piece, maybe some 6.80s

Im getting my Monster Box and TD converter put in this week
My truck is a daily driver, and I am wondering the same thing about the stall level. Anybody else regularly drive their truck with a TD in it? thanks,Rob
also, how much will the tranny and converter help me at the track?

The Total Dom has a 24-2600 stall speed, that's strange, I haven't had any problems with them, for the most part I've been more than pleased with the converters. Try calling me again Friday, I'm really hard to get on the phone but we'll get something worked out on it.

Rusty, give me a call or contact me. I have a good reason to think that the converter in your transmission as a prototype for the 2006 model 5R110W version, and if so it's a 3000-3200 converter, not the 24-2600 it should have. I talked to the the Quality Engineer at Jasper and we think that's what happened. We will of course, fix it, I'm on this personally.

Rusty, I'll call you tomorrow. Are you having problems with Jasper? I've only talked to the engineer about it, it's not likely anyone in sales is aware of the problem, we'll take care of it.
