Question Where to find and 11 or 12 inch lower pulley?

Does anyone have a pulley that size? Where can I get one w/o having it custom made? Thanks.

I found ya one...

... you just need to de-grease it a bit

12" I would think equates to about a 13# pulley! ...but he's NOT driving a KB or Eaton

I need to try and spin the blower about 65000 rpms at 5500 motor rpms. I'd rather keep the upper pulley at 3.75" because any smaller and I think there may be too much slip.

RDY, are you doing a blow through setup? I'm venting to atmosphere. The ricers won't even look at me now.

i was told i needed to vent back into the intake. something to do with the way the mass air functions.

you can run a much smaller upper without slippage. a 2.7 or 2.3 upper should be perfect.

That is probably because you aren't running a blow through mass air meter. All you are doing is super heating the air when you recirculate the air like that. Recirculating is also going to be a lot quieter.

I have people tell me that a small upper is going to cause belt slip especially over spinning the blower like I'll be doing...I figured that the bigger the pulley the better if I can get the amount of boost I want.

I kinda don't like to call people who I don't know. I have to decide lower pulley or upper pulley. Lower pulley is easier to change and ther would be much less chance of slipage. That is why I am going that route. The truck rarely sees over 5500rpms so the little I'll be over spinning the blower shouldn't matter too much. The more I over spin the better power I'll have down low and less nitrous I'll have to use.
