denny0328 or anyone that knows Eclipse subs?

I need your help on the subs.

What Eclipse subs do you have?
I have 2 SW810DVC (10" DVC Aluminum subs) plenty loud, and a JL 500/1 monoblock. I want to be able to put both of them in the L, but...the box i have now is a 1" thick MDF box. Combined with the Subs it weighs about 100lbs. I want to know if it's POSSIBLE at all to put these subs behind my seats. Because i don't want to have to sell this combo.

Any help?

I have 2 JL 10w6's mounted in a box with 1" mdf behind the seats. I also have a cap mounted on the box. Does not hinder seat travel. My JL monoblock is mounted under the passenger seat(my second one, first got stolen). I got it custom made and shipped for $165 from some company on the east coast. Not sure what it was called, but a friend of mine managed to find it online for me after some extensive searching. Good luck bro...Let me know if you need pics of my setup.

what size box do they require? it should suggest a few in the manual. they will most likely fit. i had the eclipse 88100 aluminum for a while, it was the best sub i ever had.

I have the SW6103DVC, its a 10" also, im not sure what the difference is between mine and yours, but i have a box that 5/8" mdf, and i have plenty of seat movement! you should be able to get the 10"s in there with no problem!

where do you have these subs at now? where did you get the box? post some pics so we can see the box...im about to put another sub in mine to, so id like to see what youve got going on

wow who uses 1" mdf for 10's? I am finishing up my system that has 2 jl audio 8w7 woofers. I made the boxes out of fiberglass. They are both about 3/8" thick and molded to the trucks contours. Fiberglass is awesome, it is also time consuming, but well worth the effort.
