Your 8.6 in the 1/8 probably works out to about a 13.2-13.3 in the 1/4, depending on your mph.

With a ported eaton, you may get into the 12's. It would help to know your 60' times. Rule of thumb is that a 0.1 sec. improvement in 60' equals 0.2 sec in the 1/4 mile.

It's a must for you to work on your 60's .. It is possible to run 1.8's on F1's, but there are variables there also... with your mods and kool temps you should see 12'sss ......... Good Luck

Yep, 60' times are the hardest but also most important times to work on. The launch is everything in this truck.

I have gotten a 1.94 on a fairly crappy track, so as Blown93 said, 1.8's are very possible on a decent track.

You should be in the 12's (1/4 mile) or 8.2's (1/8 mile) fairly soon.

My last time out with similiar mods plus a 2.80 upper I ran a best of 8.12 @86 with a 1.85 60' on stock F1's.

All those mods wont get you better times unless you can get that 60' down.
try this (running stock tires not slicks):
-Heat up the F1's a little it does make a difference.
-Launch from a dead idle (foot OFF the gas)
-At launch time go about 1\2 throttle, just enought to get you moving, then punch it.

It will feel wierd the first time you do it that way (it did for me) you have to control that desire to just mash it on green.

With a good 60' you will see low 8's in the 1\8th maybe high 7's which is what I'm shooting for this season. BTW: My ported blower is due in this week.

Ran the time in my sig at full weight into headwind w/ a 1.89 60ft on F1's. Only mods were chip, 4# lower, modded airbox, and Lakewoods. That was at 398 RWHP
