Question how to cut flashing headlight from factory alarm?

I installed HIDs on the Lightning but I hear its bad for the ballasts when you flash them...well when I lock my truck up and set the factory alarm the headlights flash with the horn...how can I disconnect the lights from flashing but without disconnecting the factory anti-theft system?

Thanks...

I just got some HID sylvania xenarc--- I thought it was kinda cool how fast the headlights flashed at night when I locked it So where did you hear this was bad?

On a second note, how does everyone adjust the horizatal adjustment on the the headlights? I can't find anything tool that fits down far enough to reach the adjustment screw....

theres a tool i've seen on ebay a couple times but i cant find it now. Just park the truck in front of a wall and make sure the trucks level. Turn the lights on against the wall so you can see what adjustment needs to be made, then pull the headlight and make the necessary adjustments so they lights line up proper and put it back in. Repeat til complete. As a final test you should be able to stand in front of the truck and slowly lean down. There should be a point where the lights are not bright and suddenly very bright. You want to make sure they both turn very bright at the same moment while you are croutching down.
