lightning Supercharger

What are the limits of the stock lightning S/C setup? i have a 99 4x4 with the 5.4 i am currently in the build up process and am going with forged pistons and rods and lowering my compression ratio to 8.5:1. i see several of the Lightning setups on ebay and i think a roots is what i need as far as torque is concerned and i never will see the track.... ok maybe once just to see but anyway i wanted to know the limits of the eaton 112. can it produce 16 or 18# efficently? what do you guys suggest i run? are there upgrades for it? any input is well appreciated

Well, figure on 100HP over what ya got.
Thats at 8#
Runs cool and reliable in all conditions.

But!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't forget the intercooler.
You may be dragging it in the rocks unless you think of something better location wise.

It may look simple and cheap at first glance but there is always more than you think if you want it trouble free.

Yeh, 16lbs MAX...make sure you get a good intercooler setup...but 15-16lbs is around your limit. Which I think is a GREAT amount of boost for a stock charger that you could buy for $600 on ebay.
