wow, 126 bucks? From dealer i would take it.

I think you would be happy with a ceramic pad from a place like pepboys. 50 bucks or so i believe.

I had to buy new rotors because of ceramic pads-- The raybestos ceramics that I had didn't dissipate the heat and applied all the heat to the rotors which cracked them. The ford pads didn't crack my rotors, but didn't seem to last too long. I do drive aggresively though, so it may not have an effect on your rotors.

my 2 cents on pads.

when you buy the pads with lifetime warranty you are buying an EXTREMELY hard pad. it will wear out or warp your rotors before you need to replace them.

when you buy high performance pads they are all HARD pads and thus work best when they are heated up. I had Carbon fiber and Kevlar pads on another vehicle and in the morning I'd almost blow through th first stop sign beucase the pads were COLD.

Lastly, the soft pads leave brake dust and have the most fad, however they work. It is only a few minutes to spray the brake dust cleaner on and rinse it off.

From: Colorado,
Here ya go, try these guys.

They were lots cheaper than the dealer when I got my intercooler.
Let us know what you find out.

Don't forget that these trucks have special brakes and thicker rotors. So don't expect to go to Checkers for parts.

I just bought a stock air filter at the dealer and they broke it off.$24 and no cheese with my whine. At this rate a cleanable cold air would be free.
