My L needs to loose weight, any ideas?

O.K. the big race is this weekend in Bradenton and D-Day is registered to run with the big boys (that would be our supporting vendors and other crazy non stock block brother'n)

I have lightened the load with all that I know - wondering if you have any other ideas that are simple an effective.

Dumped the:

tailgate
spare
trailer hitch/assembly
passenger seat
jack/tool kit

My big fat *** lost 6 pounds, but the 6'4" frame is still packing 230lbs, so that certainly doesn't help. I don't have a bed cover to loose or any bling either.

Any ideas?

D-Day

remove front sway bar.

(I had my best times with the tailgate on and the tonneau cover NOT rolled up)

Fold in your side mirrors.

I will get rid of the front anti sway bar. Is it true that that helps with weight transfer to the rear, too? Good idea on the mirrors, thanks!

rtkilla syle racing seat.

Other than what you've done i can't think of anything else too heavy unless you wanna just start taking tons of small parts out. You can do it if you really want to. Washer fluid, cruise contorl module, headlights, interior panels, but i don't think your all that interested in doing that, least i hope not. Find a skinny bastard to race your truck, it's worth a tenth.

Oh yeah about the mirrors, it's acutlaly not all that hard to remove em entirely, maybe worth a shot? Antennea too.
